NCAA looking at 90 team tourney

Why are they trying to destroy the sport? The 64 team tourney was perfect.

but we haven't been at 64 for the last 22 years .. (more then 64 has now happened more times then 64)

and it has been at 68 for 12 years now (it was 64 for 15 years)

I'm with you on that. Win 6 games and cut down the nets.

If it goes to 90 teams, every power conference team with a winning record will make it as well as many "regular season conference winners" from smaller conferences who don't win their conference tournament. The first half of March will no longer be exciting or elicit those "Madness" feelings. The goal for borderline tourney teams will be to load up on easy games in November and December, then try to go 6-12 in their conference to squeeze into the field. I was getting bored just typing that.
