NCAA Tournament Sweet 16/Elite Eight Thread

Let's go Gulf Coast.
Man they're fun to watch. They run so well.

They are hitting shots from the Peake in OKC

uhm, they dont seem very intimidated by Billy Donovan ... LOL

Gators look tentative passing around the top of the key against this match-up. The eagles are changing the doubles per trip and Florida is having a hard time finding the hole.

uh oh, adversity for FGCU. wonder how they'll handle it?

they seemed to lose their composure a bit the last few minutes of the half.

I want them in the final four. they need to pull it together. FGCU and Wichita State have a destiny to fulfill.

Duke starting to put a little distance between them and MSU.

I swear FGCU players make some really stupid passes.

It should only be Comer and Brown with the ball.

Look at that fat ass gator fan. How are you proud of yourself looking like that?

Marquette is a horrible shooting team so playing against that zone is a monster for them.

I can easily say this is the best I've seen Syracuse's defense play all year this last 2 games. They've been good, but not like this.

Indiana was just destroyed by this zone. They had a hand on every shot and pass - and Marquette didn't fare much better. The Orange certainly took it to their opposition.

Shockers about to choke away a 20 point lead.

Hey refs, you sure you don't want to just let OSU put 6 men on the floor ? Make your job even easier tonight.

Marv just said a shocker in Los Angeles. I wonder if he did it on purpose or if it was just a normal line that is quite ironic tonight.

For those that don't think you can win big with a one dimensional shooter in your starting lineup, just look at Michigan. I know playing alongside Burke helps, but Stauskas played a big role in that win today. Having a guy like him on the outside is invaluable, in my opinion.

He was 6-6 from three today. Shot 43% from three for the year (comparable to Pledger's junior year). And attempted just over 60% of his field goal attempts on the season from beyond the arc. And he did that as a true freshman.

BTW, totally shocked by the outcome of that game. Not necessarily that Michigan won, they've been playing pretty good ball, but that they just ran away with the game so early. Their game against Syracuse should be interesting, but they certainly have the guards to combat the zone.

Yes, but the one dimensional shooter has to make shots
