NCAA Tournament Sweet 16/Elite Eight Thread

Miami was down as much as 21 before going on a 7-0 run. Now down 16.

Ohio State is dominating the 2nd half. Leading by 8 right now.

well, at least the Ohio State game was a little closer. This group has had the more boring games BY FAR compared to tomorrows.

Wichita State came to play btw. Gonna be cool if they make Saturday's game.

I found myself watching more of the OU baseball game and Hawaii Life on HGTV.

Remember when people went nuts when OU lost to Syracuse? All the negative comments about Kelvin and coaching against a zone? Well, Indiana just took a team that was probably better than that OU team, against a less talented Cuse team than we faced in 2003, and put up a whopping 50 points.

It happens. Everywhere.

That zone is just a major issue for teams that don't see a good zone the whole year - same thing happened to us in that game that happened to Indiana offensively.

I will say 1 thing I really didn't like about Indiana and why I didn't think they were a legit contender was they don't have size - both their guards are around 6 foot and only Zeller plays inside and he has problems against physical play.

Agree 100%.

It'd be interesting to look back over the years and see who was able to beat Syracuse in the Tournament, when Syracuse was good (say, 4 seed or better). Was it a specific type of team?

Tony Crocker, Syracuse zone buster. If only he'd been as hot the next game.

Tyler Zeller is the most overrated player in college basketball.

That team/zone beat OSU in that same tournament. 'Cuse looked pretty tough last night.

Tonight's games I think will be better.

Louisville
Florida
Duke
Michigan

Are my picks.

I was 2-2 last night, narrowly missing out on 3-1 with Arizona's near upset.

Tonight I've got:

Louisville
Michigan
Michigan State
Florida

I think the Michigan/KU and MSU/Duke games have a chance to be really good.
