ISU vs UVA
Wisconsin vs ND

Gonzaga/Syrcuse
Ind/UNC are later.

ISU just doesn't match up at all with Virginia.

Wisconsin is leading Notre Dame. The Wisconsin team we played earlier this year didn't look like an NCAA Tournament team.

Wisky and ND are both mediocre teams. Sad one of these teams will be an Elite 8 team.

Guessing the Zags/Cuse game will be this bad as well.

Zags are pretty good. Cuse can play defense though.

Wisconsin 23-19 lead at the half. We scored more points in the first half if you combined em last night.

ISU is putting up a decent show in the 2nd

Niang is getting jobbed

isu has had several unfortunate calls go against them. Really need to be sure to call number 4 on niang there and he got all ball. The announcers are really bad too.

Iowa State could've won this game. They're missing wide-open shots and the foul trouble has really shackled them on defense. They easily could have gotten the lead down to four or five points and possibly even less if they'd hit their recent free throws and even a few of their shots. They're not outclassed, it's just a bad game.

First they were outclassed and the last couple minutes have been dominated by UVA.

Yeah, I've only seen the last 10 minutes of game action (got stuck late at work), but the foul trouble has certainly played a role. Three key players with four fouls hurts any team trying to make a comeback.

UVA plays beautiful basketball.

They are an unbelievably efficient team on both ends of the court. Before the tournament started, I said that UVA would be the worst matchup for OU....and I think will stick with that after watching them for several games. They are very good at getting you to "play at their pace" and to "play their style".

The one disadvantage that UVA has is since they usually play at such a slow pace, that they typically won't blow out or run away with games. With their style/tempo, you have more of a propensity to stay in the game or hang around even though you may not be playing well.
