This dude is a monster for Utah state. Pretty frustrating when we go to Europe and come back with polla and freaking Utah state comes back with an NBA post. He is worth the watch if up late.

I propose we start one thread, much like the one devoted to all NBA posts, to talk about every single player in the country who, with the benefit of hindsight, OU should have recruited. And for purposes of the thread, we have to of course assume that every one of those kids would have signed with us if we wanted them.

There are hundreds of overseas kids in D-1 basketball. Some are stars, some suck, and others are in the middle. Just like American kids. We don't need to look at every good foreign kid and compare them to Polla and Freeman. And BTW, did anyone read the article about Freeman last week that said among the other programs who offered him or were seriously interested were Vandy, Notre Dame, and ... Tennessee. So if we were idiots, I guess we were in good company on that one.

I don't mean this as a personal shot at you, Tiny. Just seems like there is so much talk lately about random dudes who we should have recruited, as opposed to the awful guys we did.

It's not lately. We spent the entire off-season reading post after post about all the fantastic JUCO players who should be at OU instead of the HS players we've recruited bc all of the best JUCO players would've come to OU & we wouldn't have ended up with any of the hundreds of terrible JUCO players who could've been recruited.
