New softball thread

If the weather in OKC forces postponement of the OU game tomorrow, will the deciding powers reschedule the game to later tomorrow or alternately play on Sunday?

Any guesses?

Texas 8 San Diego State 3, final.

I think one regional said they were moving some games to Sunday: don't know where, don't know who.

They will play tomorrow if possible. That has always been the NCAA operation. Last year in the Supers, the game 1 started on time but didn't finish till midnight after several rain delays. In game 2, it started at 3 and went to midnight and they had to get special permission to play on Sunday instead of a doubleheader. They were going to start the game at 1 am. Rain delays and May softball go together.

Does anybody know of a website with all the regional scores and, next weekend, the super regionals? Thanks.

Love when people post links so I don't have to take a few more seconds to get there. Sometimes longer depending upon my internet speed at the moment.
Thanks Syb.

Also, from this link I clicked on the bracket. Was disappointed that the regionals weren't broken down into a bracket but then clicked on OU's regional and it opened up to its regional bracket. ANYWAY, easy surfing from original link you provided.

Just heard from a friend at the National Weather Service here in Norman who said to be home by 4:00. OU and A & M is likely to be the only game played today in Norman.

Paige is either showing some freshman nerves or Aggies brought their hitting game today. Two homers yielded already by Parker, we trail 4-2... Bottom of the 2nd coming up.

Arizona State beat LSU, 1-0. ASU has eliminated LSU five times in the past thirteen years. Will this be the sixth?

Lauren gets us closer with #92. 4-3. After two.

I expect a fairly high-scoring game, considering there's a strong and gusty wind blowing from the south toward left field...

We suddenly seem to be quieting down. That was a weak journey through our batting order.

Western Kentucky beat Georgia, 2-1 in 14. WKy hit a solo HR in the bottom of the seventh to send it to extra innings. Good pitcher. She went the whole way.

Seeds beaten so far: Notre Dame,, Georgia, LSU. None eliminated yet.

If Paige can hold them, we do have both Lauren and Shelby coming up in the bottom of the sixth. Lauren has two hits. Shelby has zero. Paige has zero. Time to step up.

I've been waiting for the announcers to concede that OU got screwed on that shoulda-been-but wasn't called 3rd strike earlier in the game. Next pitch went out of the park. Difference in the game right now.

OU tied score on error in b-7th, winning run on 2nd with 1 out.

Yay!
