No matter what, it will be a huge hole in the lineup to replace Lauren and Shelby. We will miss them, BIG TIME.

It's true. But, keep in mind that OU without Lauren and Shelby has hit more home runs than Bama, 60-59 as of now. We just won't have the individual power numbers. We may actually have more 10-15 home run hitters. It would not be a surprise to see Self and Erin Miller get fifteen instead of 10 and 8. It would not surprise me to see Arnold and Ellis hit ten.

Lundgren is the one who is being brought in to replace Lauren's power numbers. So, you expect at least ten from her as a freshman, maybe more. Romero and Knighten are both the type that will hit 10-15 every year. It will be a different type of team with power from a lot of places. I expect Paige to hit at least fifteen.

Ump didn't help us but we need to get the bat off the shoulders. Taking to many pitches.

She threw a first pitch change-up to right-handers a lot. Slap it back up the middle. She threw a first pitch "curve" over the outside corner almost every first pitch to a left-hander.

Give 'em credit. I like the fact that this home plate ump isn't giving Osorio everything her heart desires this game, unlike last game.

The ump called to high rise balls strikes that the second game ump would have called a ball. If she gives Osorio that rise ball strike cosistently we will be in trouble.

If things continue as they are (Bama 1-0) and the Tide wins, I would have to vote McCleney MVP... It would, of course, be hard to vote against Osorio.

Let's hope that we can put some runs on the board in the next 3 innings.
