The explanation makes no sense. It is still a three guard lineup, the identity of the third guard simply changes. While I am not opposed to making changes, this is the kind of thing that could/should have been sorted out in the noncon -- if, ya know . . .

He said the reasoning is due to OU wanting to get away from the 3 guard lineup and not due to Elvis sucking. I'm sure he was told that by an excellent source but I call bullchit. It was a long time coming.....Elvis is a bench player, at best, in the SEC. We'll see how Goodine performs. None of them have excelled on defense, yet.

I don't really get the hate for kobe...he has played pretty good in conference...not worthy of being benched imo.
I think PM's reasoning makes sense. We have 2 smaller guards playing the 2 and 3 and they are not good rebounders.
Kobe has been a terrible rebounder. Atleast Goodine will give you more size and i'm hoping he comes on like soares did
This also allows Kobe to have the ball in his hands more when he comes off the bench.

We will see if it works or not. But we really need goodine to really come around

I think if you really want to switch things up I'd go Kobe, Fears, goodine, moore, wague.
Miles would be great off the bench. Have fears play off ball more

I saw TRow posting on X for fans to show up (while also rightfully complaining about a 9pm tip). I thought back to last season when I made the 5 1/2 hour drive and we had one of our better crowds. Hopefully we don’t duplicate that but I have little desire to make the trip again after witnessing that.

Maybe if they make it a point to make sure next to no fans are there then we might have more success... Because when there are larger crowds for the big games the team absolutely cannot/will not win. Only half tongue in cheek.
