Told some of you the Big 12 was down this year. UT getting a 4 seed, and Mizzou only getting an 11, and Colorado not making it kind of supports that. A lot of mediocrity.

I wouldn't judge the Big 12 by this crappy committee's job. I can think of 6-7 teams that should have gotten in over UAB. CU and Nebraska are better than them. Ohio State's AD has come of like an idiot and a liar in his 2 press conferences this week, only a fan of OSU would listen anything he has to say with a straight face. So is Mizzou an 11 but Michigan State is a 10? Please.

Games in Tulsa on Friday:

In the Southwest region, No. 1 Kansas will open play against No. 16 Boston University and Lon Kruger will lead No. 8 UNLV against a team he used to coach, No. 9 Illinois.

In the West region No. 5 Arizona will play No. 12 Memphis, the Conference USA champion, and No. 4 Texas plays No. 13 Oakland.

Hopefully, those will be entertaining games.

Didn't even see Oakland when I first saw it. But I liked them against Arizona then I think they match up well against Duke. But looking at it again Oakland isn't gonna be easy.

Duke will spank them. And Zona might. I don't think UT is a very good team. A lot of talent, but it's young. If they are pushed, they may fold.

Mediocre Big-12. This puts the OU season into perspective.

Very sad that no team from Oklahoma is dancin' this time.

Kansas has a great draw. Louisville could beat them. Florida has a chance too. They are by far the best team in that half of the bracket though. I think based on their bracket they may be the favorite to make it to the Final 4.
 
Illinois would scare me in the second round if I were Kansas. Granted, Illinois has played very, very average this year. But they have the talent to put one great game together.
