**Official OU vs Sacramento St game thread**

Newell with a nice feed to Neal! 58-44

NO block out on the other end after a miss. Sac St misses again 58-44 into the final media timeout.

fixed.. cade just turns around and ball watches.. a normal coach would rip his ass and sit him... and same possession we again dont block out..

Billy Tubbs referring to the Sacremento player helping C.J. up - " How nice of him" :D

Fitz gets called for a foul. He's out done for the night. I don't think he actually fouled, but he got the call.

First free throw is good, 2nd misses, but Sooners turn it over on the rebound, Sac St misses, but gets to the line. 58-46 after making 1.

Davis goes to the glass 60-46

Sac St misses Neal rebounds.

Washington gets fouled at the other end. Called intentional. Hit's 1 out of 2. 61-46

CJ turns it over on the inbound pass from Blair.

Washington gets fouled away from the ball. Goes 1 for 2 from the line. 62-48

Pledge turns it over and Sac St makes the shot and draws a foul 62-51 after the free throw misses. They get the rebound. They miss a 3.

Foul on Sac St fouls out their leading scorer. Blair hits one of two at the line 63-51

Sac St. misses Neal with another board.

Capel calls a timeout.

Newell with another 3 17 for him.

2 for Sac St 66-53. Sooners dribble it out.

Loved Tubbs at the end when CJ didn't go for the dunk.

Not exactly overwhelmingly impressive, but it's a double-digit win and with this team I suppose you can't complain too much about that. There were some bright spots.

Calvin Newell was great tonight. Neal needs still needs to play more.

I can't get the game to stream on my Mac -- I've tried Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and I've tried ESPN3.com, channelsurfing.net, atdhe.net, with the same result at each: I'm getting audio, but no video.

Anyone have an idea what the issue might be?

Sky,

I running in a Mac and it worked fine for me in Safari.

CJ should have dunked it, I agree with Billy!

Not going to lie, pretty disappointed we didnt beat this team by more.

We played bad in pretty much all phases of the game. Shot 3's okay but that's really about it. Cameron Clark needs to quit disappearing.

Are you satisfied with beating this team by 13 points?

No. Sure I would love to hold them to 22 pts and score 110, but thats not realistic...

You negativity is annoying.

A win is a win. End of story.

You disappointed? No way... shocking

Seniorsooner is one of the more level-headed posters we have on this board. We don't always agree, especially when it comes to Coach Capel, but it's difficult to argue with his logic at times. Plus, he's right in this case. This was a game OU should have won by 25+.

Honestly in a game against a team like this a win is not a win. Coming into this game Sacramento State's RPI was 345. You know how many Division 1 teams there are? 346. In a game against an opponent like that you need to do more than win, you need to show improvement and progress. I'm not sure we saw that tonight.

I like how Newell played, I like how Cade played, I like what Neal did in limited minutes and I like what CJ did in limited minues.

Fitzgerald is regressing. He's even seeming to gain some of the weight back and looking slower.
