Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year

Choctaw leads after 3 quarters 41-40. Wilson has 22 points. Ana is about the same.

If we had Ana and Wilson, we would have 2 of the most athletic players west of the Mississippi. Both are the real deal!

Going to overtime tied 57 all. Ana and Wilson each have 31 points. Wilson has several rebounds as well. This is a great basketball game!

Muskogee wins 67-64. I think Ana and Wilson both had 35 points. Wilson had at least 10 offensive rebounds.

Both are outstanding players and I hope we sign them both.

I can see why they named Wilson the POY. She does work hard. But, while it works at the HS level, she just isn't going to dominate the interior in D-1 ball. She also got the benefit of some rather questionable officiating that seemed to let Muskogee do whatever they wished, the illusion of good defense. You would like to have someone that worked that hard on your team.

But, Llanusa is in a different level altogether. She makes it look so easy, which it isn't, especially working with what she has for a team. Choctaw is Llanusa and whatever. She has a deft touch, the ability to score from anywhere, and good vision. There is no comparison of Llanusa and Wilson as prospects.

I had a chance to watch the semifinal...both are superior athletes...the kind of athlete top 10 teams have. Really excited to have Ana committed and would love to get Wilson also. Whatever team ends up with Wilson will be very happy.

I watched from home as well. It was a GREAT! Game. Wilson is the Truth! I don't care what anyone says. She is a huge matchup problem at her postion. Size, skill, and great hands. Loved her ability to get to the rim and elevate over defenders. She is a workaholic on the offensive glass. Would love to see her in a sooner uniform.

It looks like Llanusa has been working on her game! Love it! She looks like an entire Differnt person from a year ago. Love the way she attacks the rim. Long and lean and can cause major problems for opponents and will just continue to be get better and better. Sky is the limit.

Didn't get a chance to catch Dungee or Johnson games yesterday but hopefully will hear more or get to see more this summer.

I agree with you. Ana and Wilson are different type players although they both can shoot, handle the ball, get to the rim, and defend. When it comes to hard work, I have never seen a high school player like Wilson. I'm guessing Nina Davis might have been similar but, it is rare to see someone work that hard. I don't recall seeing her come out of the game for a break (I don't think Ana came out either). Wilson did remind me of Davis on the boards. She thinks every rebound is hers.

Ana is really good and I was even more impressed with her today than when I saw her play in person a few weeks ago.

Both girls are very difficult to guard. Both girls are going to make their team better in college. These are the type players that can take you to the next level. Ana, Wilson, and Cox would be the nucleus of a great team.

As a reminder, Cox and Wilson are in the 2016 class along with Dungee while Ana is in the 2017 class.

Ana and Wilson are both quicker and more athletic than Dungee. Of course, those two are quicker and more athletic than most players you will find in college.

I'm glad we have a commitment from Ana. Just hoping somehow, someway, we can add Cox and Wilson as well. With the way Baylor and Texas are recruiting, it will take those kind of players to stay up. But more importantly, it will take those kind of players to get back to the final four.

Having seen Ana I kind of knew what she could do. After having read how good Wilson is, she is still better than I expected.

Man, if we can just get lucky with those three and Mulkey and what we already have here now. It would change the program more than I think the twins, D-Rob and Amanda did.

We might actually become a full-fledged top 5 powerhouse on a continuous basis.

We've seen the promise land before. It would be nice if we could savor it's bounty for about a decade.

I have read that Wilson is anywhere from 5'9" to 6'0". I pulled this from the school website. It doesn't necessarily prove that Aaliyah is 5'11" but if you compare her height to the others beside her, it does indicate that 5'11" is about right. The numbers to the left are their jersey numbers.
