Oklahoma preview

Great write-up, DFW! I really appreciate you taking the time and effort. I will definitely read your other team reports in order to get myself prepped for Big 12 bball. :clap

Nice article. I love individual pieces on each player.

I thought it was well done. About the only thing I think you missed is will Cam Clark shoot the ball better. Both he and Grooms really struggled last year and I think their shooting woes amplified each others problem. Clark had a much higher shooting percentage as a freshman, particularly from 3 point range. If he can shoot at a higher percentage from 3 point range, I think he has a chance to be a double digit scorer. I also think that will really help Grooms, which you alluded too when you said he would be really good with four scorers.

appreciate the feedback- keep it coming. I can edit the content to make it more accurate.

Some other teams if you care to read. I hope to get all the Big12 teams done by the end of the month.

Great write up, DFW! :clap

That's the most complete (and accurate IMO) breakdown on OU's players I have seen this season. Spot on analysis!

thanks guys- added more detail about Clark shooting well in the off-season and cleaned up the grammar mistakes. Should be a great year for Big12 hoops. I think it helps the 8 good teams that TCU and Texas Tech are expected to be so bad (they may not be in reality). If those teams only combine for 2-4 wins, that could help put a lot of teams in the tourney this year because they may have 32-34 losses between them. We need to root hard for the Big12 in non conference so conference RPI is #1 going into conference play.

DFW, you hearing the same/similar stuff as me about Baylor gaining ground on OSU in the Stevie Clark sweepstakes?

Strange. Clark was just at osu's homecoming and hoops this past weekend. Looked like he was having a blast. Almost to where I'd put a large sum of money on osu and give 1000/1 odds

I bet Butch has already put up a large sum...

I keed. I keed. (not really)

I said gaining ground, not caught up. I had heard Clark had a great visit in Waco and was in the best position of every school not named OSU.

Gotcha. Not surprised. Drew seems to wow recruits.

They do not feel confident in their position. He could take the reins from Pierre Jackson and they are certainly trying to sell him on that idea but I think they expect he is OSU bound. His mom works for two OSU grads I believe. You know how that's going to end up by just knowing that.

I will put down $10

so the rumor on Clark is that he is going to enroll at OSU at semester break (December 2012). They have a scholarship to give at that spot right away since Cezar Guerrero left the program.
