Does anyone here happen to have any OU b-ball games recorded from the Billy Tubbs era? I have a couple, the'88 NC game, the OU/Mizz game where Tubbs dogs the refs on the intercomm, I also have a OU/Ark game when Brent Price played.

I would love to get my hands on some of the OU/UNLV games or OU vs LMM, but I would be interested in anything in the era. I could buy or trade, etc.

Those were some huge games you mentioned. I used to have some of those games on VHS, but they eventually went the way of the…well, VHS.

That ’88 national championship game was simply too painful for me to ever watch a second time. We were so much better than that Kansas squad; should have beaten them a third time. Oh, well…

I'd also like to request some Hollis Price-era action. Specifically, OU-Maryland 2001 (AKA what should have been the prequel to the national title game), OU-Tech 2003 ("clockgate"), and OU-KU 2003.

I just went to YouTube and searched "Hollis Price" and got a ton of stuff including the entire 2001 Bedlam game. Also the 2002 OU/Missouri game in the NCAA tournament.

I have game tapes from '83 on and DVD from about '05-12, but I need direction on what to do with them. How is the best way to share? Im not sure how the VHS / DVD to Internet conversion works.

I would love to see the spit-cup game in GIA. I think that was 99 but it may have been 2000. That was a fun game to watch.

"Spit-Cup" game? Somehow, that doesn't ring a bell. Enlighten me, Booger.

By the way, if you'll follow the boys in pinstripes, you won't have to hibernate during the summer (LOL).

LOL!!!

I can't bring myself to be a skankees fan!!! :D

The spit-cup game was the one that Terry Don Phillips had the cup and he was going to "capture the noise" of the old GIA into the cup after the bedlam win (the last game before GIA was enlarged). Then he was supposed to release it when GIA reopened. Except, we beat them that night and he had no noise to capture. :woot:OUbball-logo::OU-logo::yoyo:hollis754:

Lol, yep, I remember Eduardo Najera consoling a dejected Desmond Mason.

That's classic. Don't know why, but I don't recall that incident. Was probably still celebrating our latest World Series championship. :D

I have one dating back to the '79 season. John McCullough, when he was at UNM as a men's basketball assistant under Bliss, made me copies of the '79 OU-KSU game in the regular season finale, and then copied the OU-Texas NCAA regional game from Dallas. That was also fun to see again. It was my junior year of college at OU.

If anyone does have tapes of older games, and you figure out how to get it on a hard drive and put them on a website. I would suggest not using youtube. If you do use youtube make sure they are unlisted and promote them through blogs or message boards. But also there are alternatives to youtube out there as well. But also you can try and use torrent or other video sites.
