? on the Thunder announcers...

I think the homerism crosses the line when they basically blatantly try to insult the other teams players.

One thing I do hate about the radio guy is that I don't need to hear "Thunder money ball!" after every single three point basket the team makes.

Well when Chris Paul plays. Blake Griffin they did that a little bit. Against Miami they basically went after DWade that way.

When you say "went after", what do you mean exactly? Were they saying "Dwayne Wade is a deadbeat dad that doesn't pay his child support"?

i've heard them criticize players actions or attitudes during a play but nothing I would consider going after them.

Like saying wade is crying over a foul or something like that.

Clipper announcers are just as big homers if not more.

During a recent game James Hardin hit a 3 pointer and Brian Davis said it gave him chills....Come on man....Overly dramatic much???

He yelled "Shut up" to the 2 time NBA MVP Steve Nash because he was arguing a call. I cant remember him yelling that at a Thunder player for complaining about a call.

Their bias is too much. Also, I've always wondered, how do you "thunder up"?

This. I love the Thunder, listen and watch most games. Go to around 10 games a year. Thunder up has to be the dumbest saying there is. What the eff does it mean? How do you do it?

Same way you Boomer Sooner. Just not around children...

This. Plus EVER SINGLE TIME someone makes 1 of 2 free throws, he says, "He split the difference on the free throws." That doesn't even make sense.

This!!

When I watched them they were actually trash talking some of the players from the other team - SAD. It's OK I guess to be biased but that got rediculous. Glad I don't watch too many games - PLEASE, OU never hire someone like that - Be Professional.

I know against Miami - one of the few games I caught - late in the game DWade made a really great play and was celebrating back up the court and the announcer goes "hey DWade, look at the scoreboard" - Totally bush league. And, now I have only watched about three games, it just seemed like EVERY single call against the Thunder was wrong, etc, etc.

JMO. It does look like most either don't like the homerism or accept it as "they are hired by the team and going to do it" - BUT almost all on this thread seem to agree they are total homers - SAD to me!
