The staff saw her durning the recruitment of Kai James and Raigyne Moncrief. I think if we can get her in for a visit, our chances will be really good. FSU or Miami seems like the schools to beat, they have an advantage because she's been to both before, she's having a busy summer so getting her in for a visit could be hard.

Mompremier and the Iowa prospect Burkenhall are probably the best guesses for prospects OU is targeting.

I would like for some of the players we are recruiting to get to watch Ortiz before they make up their minds. I believe she will be the best true point guard ever at OU (I loved DRob as far as a scoring PG but I believe Ortiz will be a better floor general as well as a pretty good scorer).

Most great players want to play with other great players as they know it is hard for a team to make the final four without a really good PG and they also know a good PG will get the ball to them in a position they can score. That is why I think players like Sharane and Peyton will love Ortiz running the point.

From what I've read, Burkhall is a good player but apparently Mompremier has taken her game to another level.

I saw something that said Burkhall was a good opportunity for OU. We have had some recent success at getting Florida girls into Norman for visits. Of all the tall players in the country, I think Mompremier may have the most upside at the college level.
