Must guard the 3 pt line. It's been our Achilles heel defensively and Pritchard has been shooting it very well. They shoot a lot of 3's as well. If we guard the 3, we should win. If we don't, we probably won't.

I don't expect a great defense with this young group. The offense is what has some of us excited about the potential of this season. That would include adequate 3 point shooting which so far seems spotty. Today's win goes a long way towards needed confidence and a good season.

Yeah, Odomes and Doolittle. Add that Manek was sick the last game is the reason he didn't play much. That leaves Freeman with a lot of playing time today.

These teams will have a good scouting report on each other since they played in the "secret" scrimmage in Vegas a few weeks ago.

I know it sounds counter-intuitive but I'd like to see the offense kick in today. I know the defense improves with time ... I want to see them loosen up a bit and sink more of these open jumpers they keep missing.

Freeman is playing better this season. He’s fourth on the team with an 8.3 scoring average, plus 3 rebs, a steal and a couple of blocks. He seems to be comfortable at the high post Usedtobe1 talked about last year. I also liked the role he played in breaking Arkansas’s full court press.

He is, but Pritchard is better than he played today. He may have gotten caught up in the hype of facing off against Trae.

And Oregon will have Pritchard for four years. I'm hoping against hope we have Trae for more than one.

I didn't think they had it in them. It's amazing how Trae elevates this team. There will be bumps this year, but I just have to give it up to them today. Great win. I'm already getting the selfish bug everyone else is about Trae, wanting him for another year. Man!

Wish we had them both. Trae is better, but pritchard is a stud, and was the starting pg for a final four team as a true freshman.
