He can be a tough match-up for the bigs in our conference. He's got a nice touch from the outside, a quick first step, and handles the ball really well. His defense on the perimeter is pretty fantastic as well.

He's getting more aggressive too now that Big 12 play has started. He was a beast today. I still say he was just fitting in during non-conference against the Sac St's, NW St's, Coppin St's of the world and being a team player. Now that Big 12 is here he is stepping up his game and showing that he's the most talented all-around player we have.

I'm glad he's starting to get some credit. As talented as he is, he has been an unselfish team player from day one at OU and I've hated to watch people on this board rip him for it.

Death Roe is tearing it up right now, and if this team makes the NIT, he will be a big reason why. He has already exceeded my preseason expectations for him, and should only continue to improve.

OU's frontcourt next year will be one of the best in the country if M'Baye is as good as most think. Add a young athlete to take some good minutes and get some experience in Henry, and that's a stout frontcourt. All of their games are a little different, so teams will have to really worry about adjusting.

We need a guard who can create kinda like Jeremy Jones from KSU yesterday. Someone who can score from beyond the arc and who can drive and score. In addition, this player needs to help with ballhandling.

I guess what I'm saying is if we could find another player with a similar skillset as a Hollis Price, this team would be complete. Maybe we have that already in the recruiting class as I don't know much about the recruits?

Note, I'm not knocking either Grooms or Pledger as both are very good but both have limits. For Grooms, it's his shooting and for Pledger, he lacks the ballhandling and some of the driving to the basket. He's improved in this area, but we need him to get better.

He really is starting to play well. Every game I see him do more. Looks like the player we hoped he would be.

Osby is a grown man. No doubt there was a bit of hyperbole from Capel last year, but not nearly as much as those who kept touting earlier this year that Capel was essentially lying about Osby to try and save his job. And from what we keep hearing about M'Baye is somewhat similar to what we heard about Osby last year. Next year's frontline should be very good by the time the conference schedule starts (obviously guys who sit out a year need about a month to get their sea legs)

It was nice to see the "big guys" shots dropping. I thought Grooms did a very good job penetrating and dishing to those guys. Our ball movement was good. It helps when you have a teammate that is open enough that you CAN pass the ball to him and he is not shielded out by the defender (KU), which is probably more of our ability/inabilitiy to move without the ball with timing that allows for clean passes.
