This probably isn't fair. But, if what I'm seeing on TV right now is an accurate representation of the OSU Basketball team, they are just terrible.

I mean it looks like they showed up for this game and had never had an organized practice. No one thinks Stanford is a good team.

They're not looking good right now. If they make a run to get back into the game it will give them something positive to take away from the game. If not, this is a really poor outing.

Not impressed at all!! Have some young talent, but very poorly coached/prepared imo!

I hate to say it, but the Pokes remind me of OU last year. Since I started watching the game late in the second half, OSU's offense has consisted mainly of one on one moves and jacked-up threes that looked totally out of sync with anything the rest of the team was doing. I'm not impressed with their defense or ballhandling either.

Travis Ford has his work cut out for him, that's for sure.

Isn't that a description of Travis Ford's offense at UMass (or where ever he was prior to coming to OSU?)

Maybe so, but I don't recall seeing a Ford coached team run around like they're lost before. That's why I said they reminded me of OU last year. One has to believe that OSU is better than they have shown in the game against Stanford. Talk about a beat down! :facepalm

I've said on several threads, plenty of athletes but will be curious to see what happens in a basketball game. I still think that Ford is a competent enough coach, but I also think he has his work cut out for him. College basketball is hugely dependent on coaching, that is why I was thrilled to get one of the best in CLK.

The "most athletic team in the big 12" just got beat down by the team picked 7th in the pac 10. Yikes. Either Stanford is better than expected or OSU sucks.

Best part of this was when the announcers admitted that it wasnt worth talking about the game anymore with about 8 minutes left.

I only saw his UMass team once or twice. The only thing that I remember is they jacked up a lot of 3's.
