The end of regulation and the end of the game were both poorly managed by OSU. An OSU clock operator didn't help, but I'm not sure what the officials based their call on. When did Baylor have the ball to give them the ball back? They had about four shots at three to make one..
Neither of these teams is Elite Eight from what I saw. I'm surprised that OSU isn't more seasoned. Bias, Martin, Sutton, and Donoho have been there enough to be able to play.
In the games that OU has lost this year, we have lost because we didn't shoot well, missed layups, didn't control the ball when we had it, made bad passes, and didn't go after rebounds. The two teams that I saw today were exactly that. They played like we did when everyone was condemning us. They couldn't shoot, even free throws. OSU was pathetic on the boards. They made about 18-19 turnovers each. They kept passing to nobody in particular. They didn't have the discipline to get to the Sweet Sixteen, much less the Elite Eight.I don't see how you can say neither of these teams is an Elite Eight team. Did you see the Baylor vs. UConn game? Did you see Louisville knock off Baylor last year in the Sweet 16? March Madness is unpredictable and both of these teams have a legitimate chance of making a deep run.
