If Texas continues on their current downward spiral, then it wouldn't surprise me if he's gone after the season. Patterson, the new Texas AD, hasn't shown much patience for mediocrity (i.e. Mack Brown).

Can Rick Barnes get not Big 12 coach of the year this year? Their guards are just really bad, and they don't play through their bigs. Oh, and their halfcourt offense is putrid.

The officiating was strange down the stretch. It seemed to me OSU got the calls in Austin. Multiple moving screens not called on OSU. Obvious fouls were called on OSU but close calls seemed to go their way.

That game was an abomination.

The only thing worse was the color commentary guy on the LHN.

Some great gems from last night off the top of my head:

"Looking at Texas' upcoming schedule, they have a chance to either win or lose all of them."

After the Texas player CLEARLY was concussed when the back of Tavarius Shine's head hit him squarely in the jaw:

"Looks like he got the wind knocked out of him..."

After looking at a graphic that showed OSU and Texas have almost identical NCAA tournament profiles (RPI in the 30s, same conference and overall record) and OSU leading by double-digits in the second half in Austin:

"OSU needs to show the committee a reason to include them... Texas needs to show them a reason NOT to include them."

After a charge was called on Forte when a Texas player jumped in front of him and both of his feet weren't even on the ground when contact was made...

"That's just an incredible defensive play there..."

It was on and on like that all night. Comically bad.

I was going to say something about how the LHN should be better since it has a much larger audience/higher production value, but then I'm not really sure... OSU radio broadcasts might actually have a bigger audience than the LHN...

Ha I figured....

Yeah Hunziker has an annoying voice but is actually a very solid PBP guy.

I don't mind Holcomb... Robert Allen is obviously horrible. I can't stand listening to his nasal, fat man voice.

I still miss Bill Teegens. He was the best.
