OSU v Missouri

A couple.of things....I think Mizzou is improving as they gave a decent Illinois team a good game at a neutral site a week or so ago. And OSU is now playing against a better quality of athlete. I still expect OSU to pull this out though.

This game has been a bizarre combination of poor play, poor coaching and poor officiating. I'm not sure if either team deserves to win it.

Incredible buzzer beater as the worst coach in the Big 12 allows Missouri to shoot a 3 to tie rather than foul.

Napoleon iced his own FT shooter with 7 seconds left....ouch.

Yeah...brilliant, and didn't even manage to get a defensive plan in for the missed ft.

OSU fans will just say it was a lucky shot, but there were so many things that were executed poorly. No foul, timeout between free throws, having the shooter matched up with the pg.

Luckily for OSU, Missouri is just as disorganized and undisciplined as they are

Missouri out of timeouts near end of OT so Ford kindly helps them out and calls 2.

Lol at Missouri, missed a layup at the end of OT to tie.

D'Angelo Allen misses a wide open layup at the buzzer that would've tied the game in OT. His recruitment came down to us and Missouri if I remember correctly. Woof.

Really the team that made the most stupid mistakes lost, nobody really won.

Team is lightyears better than it was when we played OU.

They'll struggle to get to .500 this year, but the future is looking much better now than it was in the first month of the season. In that month, we've gone from a complete blowout by a mediocre Purdue team, a scare vs. a pathetic Southeast Missouri State team and another blowout vs. a good OU team to actually competing with solid competition. We're on a three-game losing streak, but in those three games we played 30 minutes of near-even basketball with Xavier, lost on a last-second three to Illinois and lost in OT on a missed layup to OSU.

We're probably only going to win another eight games this year (if we're lucky), so as far as OU's concerned, MU is a drag on your RPI, but this is actually beginning to look like the makings of a good team a year or two into the future.

OSU's starting 5 are pretty decent. Especially Forte, Nash, and Hickey. They don't have much of a bench though.

OU and Arizona are clearly better than OSU out of the teams Mizzou has played. Not sure anyone else on our schedule is.

I know in the past the general feeling here was that you'd all be happy to never play Mizzou again, but I've enjoyed the opportunities to play old Big 8 opponents again. Should become a regular thing.

My feeling is OU should never do anything that helps any person in the State of Missouri make a penny. If I ran the conference nothing would be done in KC.

Nash has become very disciplined in not taking any 3's but he turns down open 3's just to pass it to someone who takes a contested 3pt shot. Every time I see him turn an open 3 down and he passes it the next guy shoots a bad 3 pt shot.

Ford has taken every highly ranked small forward he's brought in and has turned them into a post player and ruins their game. He took Muonelo, Franklin, Williams, and Nash and takes them out of their position and moves them to the 4. And I bet the reason Burton isn't playing is because there is no playing time at the 4.

Nash has no identity. What is his role? I don't think anybody knows.
