OSU will not win the conference

I would say OSU has an easier schedule than Kansas and KSU the rest of the way. Will probably come down to the last week when OSU plays KSU and KU plays @ Baylor

If you look at the remaining schedules. Oklahoma absolutely has a shot at winning the conference too. OSU might literally be the only game we aren't favorites in. Texas may be another one, but that line may be close to pick'em. Losing Hield really hurts that of course.

No we don't. Especially not without Hield.

We have a shot. No one's saying you should bet the rent on it, but we have a shot.

Why not wait and see what happens? We don't yet know how the team will respond to losing Buddy.

I can remember another time an important player got hurt late in the season, and as it happens, we were due to play oswho in Stillwater in the next game.

That player was Blake Griffin, of course, and the year was 2008. Not many expected the Sooners to win in Stillwater without BG, but we did -- by 12 points.

I'm not saying history will repeat itself tomorrow; all I'm saying is -- you never know. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised by how the team performs over the next seven games; I have a feeling other players are going to step up in Buddy's absence.

only a few teams can't win this conference. Every team is proving that everyone can beat everyone.

Now that Kabongo and Holmes is back, this league just got a lil tougher.

But OU can win this league w/o Hield...its going to be tough but our toughest game is this saturday. And thats a winnable game.

Of course it helped that the OSU team you played in Stillwater finished that year 17-16 and lost in the first round of the NIT.

It also lost two other conference games at home that year.

There are obviously no guarantees, but this OSU team is quite a bit better than that one.

Who's their coach again?

And I just realized that soonerbounce beat me to the punch. I guess Andy Katz and I have something in common...

Yes, and Blake Griffin was a bigger loss to that Sooner squad than Buddy is to this one. So we'll see.

The same coach that booted your Sooners WITH #1 draft pick Blake Griffin out of the Big 12 tournament that same year.

Here come all the same aggies that hid for weeks after they lost in Norman.

Is that the same coach who's 5-6 against OU, despite the Sooners having three of their worst teams in half a century?

5-7 after tomorrow, right?

Remember Aggies that are coming out from behind their Mommies, you are 0-1 against big brother so far. I think OU has a better than 50-50 shot at winning in Stoolwater this weekend.

I believe osu will lose AT home against both KU and KSU. KU will be very mad for the home loss and KSU seems to have the aglets number.

Then the aglets have a few tough road games. They have a lot better shot at finishing 10-8 than winning the conference.

And the most important part? Ford is still their coach and he SUCKS, lol.
