Not sure anybody cares but looks to me like these guys are done. IMO for the year.
 
Tourney is a guards game, if they are an 8/9 seed they will probably have the best guard in that game.

Lost 6 in a row. Won 9 of 10. Lost 3 in a row. There is a fine line between winning and losing in this conference.

The Underwood infatuation is hilarious to me. If Travis Ford went 9-10 in BIG 12 play and beat only 1 team that had a winning record in BIG 12 play, there's no way in the world OSU fans would do anything other than demand the head coach be fired.

Underwood inherited some nice players and has had a relatively nice year. They are a decent team. Not a good team, not a great team. But a decent team.

This idea OSU plays harder under Underwood is so bogus. Or that they are "tougher." My goodness, they are the 121st ranked defensive team in America. They suck defensively. A bad defensive team.

What they are better at is offense. They've made more shots with Travis Ford's recruits.

The Oklahoma media's infatuation with Underwood is peculiar & bizarre to me. The results thus far do not show anything different than what Ford accomplished at Oklahoma State.
 
I would certainly like to see Underwood packing his bags for Manhattan before he has time to get settled in in aggwater.
 
I think Underwood has done an excellent job and they'll make the tournament easily.

But, with their loss today, they are 1-8 against the top four teams in the Big 12. They have road wins at WVU and WSU, a home win over Arky and that's it.

Counting a win at KSU, they have four quality wins out of 19.

The media wants them to be good, imo and has portrayed them as better than they are.

Ok I'll bite

Underwood is taking a team to the tourney that was picked if not to finish in the bottom of the conference at least the bottom half by all media outlets

The board posters here during the preseason picked them them to finish well blow OU in the bottom half of the conference. If I had said before the season that they would finish 500 in conference and make the NCAAs you would have laughed in my face

Now explain to me how a coach that took this ragtag bunch to the top half of the one of the best BB conferences in the NCAA not better than Travis Ford? The only teams finishing ahead of him are ranked in the Top 25. He has more conference road wins than Ford had in his career

Good points, Byron. I think Underwood deserved a share of that Big XII COY award. Good luck next week. I think the posters who said u would be in the 8/9 game are right...maybe u will get to play Villanova in Round 2 😀.

I thought Underwood and Jamie Dixon were equally worthy as COY.
