The Sooners have been one of the pleasant surprises of the first week-and-a-half, beating Minnesota on a neutral floor and Oregon State in Portland. Neither of those wins are earth shattering, but they're the kind that start building a résumé and will make a difference come March. Sharpshooting Wichita State transfer Austin Reaves is averaging 17 points despite shooting just 33% from three so far.

I don't think that's the AP poll -- the reporter mentions that two AP #1s have already fallen, but it looks like SI's own Power Rankings. Nice to receive the recognition from SI, though.

Ahhh, my bad. I googled AP Poll and saw this was posted today, and figured SI was just publishing the poll. Looks like they won't update the AP Poll until Monday the 18th.

We should roll into KC 5/0.

Hopefully we’ll get Missouri for the Tuesday game... would love to beat them in KC. Make my Thanksgiving a great time!
