OU a #5 seed in ESPN's latest Bracketology

I'd take a #5 seed right now and be happy.

If this team doesn't learn from and improve on the last two games, they could be on the dreaded bubble by seasons end. I think they will, I'm just saying OU needs to return to the formula they used to beat Baylor and destroy a top ten team in Texas on their home floor.

What I'm hoping is that the west Virginia game was a result of not fully dealing with a bad Kansas st loss last saturday and not a sign of things to come.

They must win on Saturday. Winning fixes a lot of problems.

The five seed has a lot of bad history. I think OU was a five seed last year in the tournament and lost first round. I hope the record improves down the stretch.

A 5 seed is exactly what I think we have our sights on, and I'll be really excited if things play out that way. 5/12 games are usually really tough, but it beats the hell out of a 8/9 games! This team is fully capable of earning a 4-6 seed.

I haven't looked at everyone else's resume, but unless it's a highly unusual year where there is just a lack of teams with good wins and without bad losses, no way in hell we're a five. We've won at Texas, versus Baylor, at Tulsa, and against Butler on a neutral court. We've lost to WVU and Wisconsin. So that's 4-2 against tournament teams, with only one game at home, which is good. But throw in three losses to teams that won't be in the field, and we're we have more losses than wins over tournament teams. Not sure how you can go sub-.500 against a group of teams that aren't even all making the tournament and be an above average at-large team.
