What do we think? Feels to me like OU matches up well and has the offensive weapons to give the zone problems. Ultimately they’re the far better team and should win this at home, but I think we can keep it close.

It appears they start one player taller than 6'5". Chances are these guys are quick of foot, but I'm holding out hope our taller lineup will be effective in controlling the boards.

They are more of a man team this year defensively. I do like that we are going there fresh off a solid win. Defend, rebound, and hopefully take advantage of our size.

They are really good, obviously... Guards are excellent. They can shoot. And Gillespie is pretty good down load. Not sure what happened to Tristan Clark, who I thought would be really good but only plays 14 minutes per game.

They were in trouble this weekend in Stillwater but Devonte Bandoo bailed them out by hitting 4 threes down the stretch to secure a close win.

Their season box score is confusing..

Jared Butler averages 17... Macio Teague averages 13.5... Then its 9.8, 9.5, 7.7, 6.9, etc. They get a lot of contributions from various players.

In terms of matchup, I have to think its favorable in the post for OU... Doolittle and Manek are hard for anyone to deal with and they play small.

This is a winnable game because of the Manek/Doolittle matchup. As long as OU doesn't surrender the 3pt line I think this should be a good game.

Their switch to man this year has played to their strengths. Baylor has a shot to win the entire thing this year. I think they are better than KU and I don’t think it’s close. We gotta shoot lights out and get some breaks. Baylor by 10ish

It’s simple, if we shoot well tonight...we have a chance. If we don’t, we’ll lose. Can’t afford to have a slow start either!!

I don't think they played a single possession of zone when I saw them in Lawrence. They are very, very good. Butler has a ton of confidence and never shies away from taking tough shots. Clark still isn't close to his pre-injury form.

Hard to see us winning, but now that they have taken over the top spot in the AP Poll, it's almost inevitable that they'll drop a game in the near future. Seems like traditionally, teams leading KU in the race suffer an inexplicable home loss to open the door. Tonight would be as good a night as any for that to happen IMHO.

Yes we have a chance but I wouldn't take it at 10 to 1 odds. Baylor is real good!!! They don't look like any Baylor team I've seen in previous years.

Much more athletic than us. I kind of picture a 20 pt loss but yet an OU win is not out of the question. This is kind of the way I see the Big 12 and really the entire NCAA: no totally dominant teams. As for OU it all depends on effort, shot selection, and how many fall. But I think Baylor’s athleticism is probably too much for us even if we are on.

Are they really much more athletic?

Manek, Doo, Kur, Harmon, Alondes, Victor, and Reaves are all pretty athletic. Manek is pretty underrated in that regard, but he has thrown down some nice dunks and has caught his fair share of alley oops.

They are obviously better put together as a team, but I doubt they are significantly more athletic than OU.

Watched Baylor play Kansas. I didn't see them play any zone -- which shocked me. Their guards are really quick and difficult to stay in front of. Kansas couldn't stay in front of them and Baylor wore Kansas out with drive and kicks for open jumpers.

Gillespie is a good low post player, but I wouldn't call him dominant.

At Baylor, I would give them the edge, but it wouldn't shock me if we won. With us, it all comes down to shooting. If we can hit some shots, we will make it a game.

Roughly 4/1 in Vegas. I’d love to take OU at 10/1. Good value there.

I saw the o/u at 135. I'd take the over toot sweet

Baylor is really good defensively. That number looks pretty accurate to me. If it goes way over, it probably means we didn't play very good defense ourselves, unfortunately.

We can play like we did against TCU and still get beat but if we don’t play like we did against TCU we have zero chance. That means playing great defense, not losing their shooters and moving the ball and making shots on offense.

I believe they are more athletic but I hope you are right.

OU will need to play lights out to win this one

Mank's effort on that early TO was embarrassing; if he gets back on D instead of sulking, he gets the loose ball after Doo's block. Instead, he pouted and was late, and the ball went right into Baylor's hand for a layup.

Same ole, same ole.

Anyone know why OU is wearing their home white jerseys?
