Men’s basketball’s run to the Final Four was lucrative for head coach Kruger and returning assistant Chris Crutchfield. Kruger’s deal was extended through the 2020-21 season. He’ll receive $3 million this coming year, up from $2.85 million, with an automatic $100,000 raise every season through 2020-21. Crutchfield picked up a $60,000 raise to $300,000 for this coming season. Director of basketball operations Mike Shepard landed a $25,000 raise to $140,000 per season.

All the Sooners’ coaches are paid through athletic department revenue. None of the money comes from taxpayer funds or university subsidies.

A well deserved pay increase for Coach Kruger and his staff. It's also good to know Lon plans to be at OU for five more years, and possibly longer.

Coach Kruger is worth every cent with what he brings to the table at OU. His teams do things the right way. :lon
