Re: OU-Florida Box Score

6.3% on threes. Really. 6.3% ! :facepalm

It's hard to shoot that bad if it's your main goal in life. You must be kidding!

Re: OU-Florida Box Score

Interesting -- with how badly today went and all the minutes given to Freeman, Shepherd, and Cole -- that Buford never got off the bench. Not that he'd have made a difference, but when Lon's trying everything else, he never reached for Dante.

Re: OU-Florida Box Score

IMO, 18 of 65 (27%) from the field is even more troubling, many of them point blank shots inside eight feet or lay ups.

I never dreamed this team would totally lose focus or give up, much like they did against Baylor. Just when I thought they had progressed beyond the point of another embarrassing loss, they proved me wrong.

I'm at a loss for words right now, and that might be a good thing.

The shooting was certainly bad. There's just nothing good to say about shooting 27% but Florida's defense was really good. The way many seemed to quit was the worst part. IMO, the young guys needed Woodard's leadership when things got tough and he was AWOL. He's who I'm most frustrated with and I'm glad Kruger let him sit for the last 17 minutes.

They'll bring it Monday night against the Cowboys. They've shown too much resilience all season not to come back stronger.

Supposedly Donte has had alarm clock issues..why he didnt play...

Supposedly woodard was sick..

Kruger was quoted in an OUScout.com article as saying Buford had alarm clock issues twice this week. He's a third year player who finally works his way into the starting lineup, only to lose his spot because he can't be responsible enough to get out of bed in the mornings.

Geeeez! No one expects every player on this team to work as hard as Buddy or Isaiah. But, is it too much to ask players to show up for classes or meetings or practices, or whatever Dante missed?

No wonder we got our tail kicked in today's game! :facepalm

I wouldn't mind seeing him transfer after the season so we've got an extra ship for 17-18. He's got a ton of talent but just doesn't seem to have the heart.

Agreed and I'm glad Kruger dealt with it. But the team didn't miss Buford yesterday. He really doesn't help the team much at all. The team did miss Woodard. Hopefully he'll be in better condition for Monday's game.

My comment wasn't meant to suggest that Dante would have made a difference in the outcome of yesterday's game if he had been available. His main contribution so far this season has been depth and an occasional three. My observation was focused entirely on the example a third year player set for our newbies by oversleeping twice this week. Even worse, he was a starter.

Unless there are extenuating circumstances we don't know about, I have an idea he may go to the back of the line again.
