That 3 by James was huge. Can't shoot it much worse than we did. To be down by only 5 at halftime is a big momentum boost. You have to believe that Buddy will get it going in the 2nd half and KU will cool off a little.

After my criticism of the defense earlier in the thread, it did get a lot better in the last 6 minutes. Big shot by James at the end of the half. As poorly as we shot and looked at times, we are fortunate to be down only 5 and this game is more than winnable. I think if we continue to drive the ball, they will keep fouling us....and if our shots start falling, we will be in good shape. As bad as we played for the first 10 minutes, I feel pretty good.

Certainly been some favorable calls but ou tends to not challenge the shooter that much, even when they drive. Ku is challenging every move we make. Some refs will call touch fouls. This is something I noticed we have started to do because of our guys getting into foul trouble early in our losses.

He just forces a few to many times. I mean if he's got a one on one yeah he can break a guy down sometimes...but your not Chris Paul bruh...your not gonna weave through 2 guys and shoot over top 2 others. He needs to stick to what he does best...knock down that occasional 3.

Agree. Need him to not get caught up in the moment when he's not hitting...he's gotta let the game come to him like it always does and then he hits his rhythm ...We need a good start. A stop and easy bucket. Then let's start from there.

Buddy only had 6 at half the other day against Texas and ended with 27. Hope he does it again. The Toupee man at the half time interview was all cocky about the dude who has been defending Heild - hey Bill, did your guy stop Heild on the two wide open three's Buddy missed?? NO!!
