I'm hoping "high energy guy" translates in to "hard worker" once he gets on campus. If he really gives it his all w/ YoYo's workouts he could be a really nice pick up (not that he isn't anyway).

Different kind of player but somehow I'm thinking "Johnnie Gilbert-type" with Avila - outgoing personality, crowd favorite. I know Johnnie G. wanted to be playing more at the end of his career (still, I think he got decent minutes as I remember) but he seemed to be the selfless type, kind of like Fitz. Here's hoping Avila doesn't just wind up getting spot minutes.

I'm glad we got him.
