to keep Tech under 120 points - but it will be hard.

73-42 early in the third. Wait we tightened things to 77-50.

maybe 1000 turnovers to go with it.

You got to have faith in the fighting Sherri's, her and Sherri Jr will go back to work right after this game, they will skip going to Chuck E Cheese..the Coales mean business

We did it.

Our tight defense just shut them down all day and held Tech to 106 points.

Now that is impressive.

When you sit here soaking in this game -- and this season -- what is there left to say?

Nothing will change until Sherri and her staff are gone. We need new coaches, new player blood.

Think about this...We are as bad as we were when Sherri first arrived here.

TIME TO START OVER! Let Sherri teach and raise money for the school!

Undoubtedly we are the worst team in the Big 12 this year and a complete and utter humiliating and beerus Matt. How SC can look people in the face bringing in what she does annually and producing these results I have no idea. I'm embarrassed for the four D-1 players we actually have on the team this year, they deserve better. The rest of these girls probably should have never been offered a scholarship and could have achieved much more success on a lower-level team. It's time to move on and if it does not change by next season there will be one less fan watching these trash fires called games.

It’s hard to sunshine pump here, but I can’t help but think how solid this team would be with Chelsea Dungee and Nancy Mulkey.

A starting 5 of Dungee, T-Rob, Ana, Madi, Nancy

With Gabby, Mandy, Tatum and Mercer off the bench doesn’t seem so bad. We’d also have some senior leadership. I know it’s easy to hate on Sherri’s lack of recruiting, but she recruited those players. Not to mention Pellington.

I agree. I think with those two, in addition to Pellington, we would have several more wins over the past 2-3 seasons. I think the problem has been our coach. She holds grudges, has favorites, and is just too lazy and burned-out to put a real effort into each player individually, thus we very rarely see players improve throughout their careers. More and more we are seeing our quality players transfer out in exchange for a D-II caliber, at best, replacement. I'm tired of watching this staff sign project players that they see potential in who end up riding the bench for multiple years long and never contribute. Let's fire the entire staff and start really recruiting true talent again. That is the only way the premier recruits will even consider coming back to Oklahoma, IMO. I pray some changes come soon as I really would love to continue watching next season.

Ifs and buts don't win basketball games players do. The transfer and injuries are part of the game for all teams. Criteria #1 sign top quality girls, #2 keep girls happy and on campus, #3 develop available talent, #4 play consistent defense and #5 get better as the season progresses.

You can argue with the order of the above but not the necessity of all to overachieve. Unfortunately Sherri has consistently been failing to meet any of the 5 and there appears to be no change in the foreseeable future.

Here is a question for everyone Since the team hit rock bottom who will SC blame and run off before next season? It want be SCjr

I don't know if she will have to run off anyone

There’s no one left but junior. He better skedaddle before momma does so she can get one of her coaching buddies to hire him.

There used to be a time when SC's husband (a former HS baseball coach) was at games and they would show him watching. The games I've seen the past five plus years...he's never mentioned. I realize she makes a large enough salary (generally speaking) to support the family, especially since he was a high school educator and we all know they don't make what they deserve. Seems like he'd be there watching sonny boy begin his coaching career since he has a coaching background as well. Or has she already ran him off? Maybe he voluntarily stepped away from having to watch the dumpster fires while wifey and sonny spray fuel. I don't know that I'd be able to keep a straight face while watching it as a family member. Can't blame him!

What buddies? She must be the laughing stock of NCAA women's basketball, if not a disgrace to her peers. Especially those making 1/2 (or less) of her salary but producing 1000% more. I don't think anyone would want to touch sonny with a ten foot pole...faux buddy or not.

The Norman Transcript did not cover yesterday's game. Or if they covered it they chose not to put it in this morning's print copy. Are they trying to protect Sherri?

If Joe C and Harroz were to decide they did not want to spend the money necessary for a serious effort to resurrect the program in the next few years, what would be the best way to go about it? I assume Sherri probably has two years to go on her contract.

They could just refuse to extend her contract and wait until it expires before doing anything. They could offer her an arrangement where she could maintain employment at the University in another capacity and pay her like $300,000 a year for five years. Then they could use the remaining part of what they are paying her to hire a decent coach who probably would not have a very good chance of major improvement.

Or, they could out and out fire Sherri and then be stuck with paying out her contract. They could hire someone at the bare minimum and then replace them when Sherri's contract runs out.

I wonder how much the costs of putting on games factors into this. It has to be a big drain on the budget when you have such paltry crowds. It can't be cheap to operate that facility.
