OU vs #7 KU 6pm CST on ESPN

Game went about like I thought. We battled but they are just better. Worried about the rest of the year.

Not sure which was worse -- bringing in our longest player to guard the inbound pass and then having him lay on the ground or 4 seconds to "create" a 3/4 court shot. Not a good finish.

This team has a severe lack of talent. The Groves brothers are borderline power 5 players and Harkless was by far the worst player on the court. Why the F didn’t Nolan play the 2nd half after hitting 2 first half 3s?

Blown opportunity for a road win against a team around our level followed by a blown opportunity vs a team well above our level. Frustrating for such an old team. Groves and Harkless being so poor offensively is just a killer.

Much better game than the last one with TCU. Only 11 turnovers this time around, solid defense, but 4-17 from 3, and 12-18 from the FT line. Just need to shoot slightly better and we'll be fine.

Chargois is a really big piece to the team. Groves hasn't been there offensively and looks to be tiring out a bit (covid recovery plus extended workload), but is working his a** off on defense. Chargois provides a little bit of scoring as well, and that honestly might just be the difference the past two games.

kids play hard, but no excuses for losing at home if you wanna dance in March

That is a play a lot of teams use, but I’m sure Porter wasn’t expecting Harkless to chuck up the shot with time for at least one more dribble.

I wish he had played Cortes and Goldwire together down the stretch and sat Harkless. Cortes give our offense some juice, and Harkless got burned by Agbaji for two threes when we had the lead. As bad as EJ is offensively, he better be damn near perfect on defense.

Yup, back to back games EJ loses track of a shooter in crunch time.

OU is 10-52 from deep over our past three games.

That missed out-of-bounds call with, what, two and half minutes or so? KU gets a possession they shouldn't have and went down and hit a three to (if my memory serves me) tie the game. We had time to overcome it, of course, but it was a terrible call in crunch time, something KU gets in. Every. Single. Game. They. Play.

Just like it always is against the squawks, its a fair whistle until ku needs a bailout. That was an inexcusable blown call one of the other zebes should have overruled the one who made the call. He couldn’t possibly have seen what happened from where he was. And they made a 3

The refs blew a call and that sucks, but under no circumstance should OU be giving up a wide open 3 to the leading scorer in the Big 12.

It seems harkness can do no wrong. Never gets pulled from what I see… gold wire gets pulled a lot
