OU vs #7 KU 6pm CST on ESPN

I like Tanner, but i'd like to see Moser try to recruit some bigs like Huggins gets over the years, at least by body type. Big, physical, push people around. Dictate. I know they're trying but Tanner looks like he's never lifted a weight in his life. It's embarrassing how small his arms and overall musculature is. He gives so much effort but is so physically limited..

Other then Goldwire, no one really looks like they have ever hit a gym. Nolen is legit fat, Cortes looks soft. This team needs a month with Schmidty this off season.

100%

Try maybe 5 months.

Right about Goldwire. Not sure what kind of program the strength coach has the guys on…. But yeah OU in almost every game looks like the weaker team, even against inferior teams. Moser talks physicality all the time, I was hoping it would be an emphasis. We’ll see I guess. It’s a physical league..

I've been meaning to post the same thing about Tanner.

He needs to do two things this offseason:

1. Live in the weight room. He needs to get A LOT stronger.

2. Put up 500-1,000 shots IN THE PAINT a day. Way too often he just looks uncomfortable traffic. He'll make a really nice, really fluid move, then the next time down the court he'll look like one of our project bigs shooting his first baby hook in a college game. I think #1 above will help with this, but he needs to work on scoring over people and in traffic.
