Game 10 - OKC AT PAYCOM #13 OKLAHOMA (9-0) vs. OKLAHOMA STATE (6-2) 7pm CST on ESPNU

Unc in charlotte isn’t much of an advantage? Is this satire?
Did I say it wasn’t an advantage? But is isn’t a true road game. UNC doesn’t control ticket sales, their students weren’t there, and they were not playing on their home court.

It isn’t. It is neutral site game per the NCAA. I know you’re probably arrogant enough to think your opinion matters more than how the game is classified by the body that governs the sport, but facts are facts.
You the only one dumb enough to think unc isn’t a road game in North Carolina . Idc what it’s labeled per the ncaa!

I know it’s listed as neutral site. It’s not played at chapel hill.

You should care, becuase those “labels” directly affect how games are evaluated by the committee. We will get more credit for last night’s win than we would if it were considered an OU home game.

So if we play Michigan in Dallas, is it an OU home game?

Not the same. Dallas is not inside the state of Oklahoma. Dallas has a lot of Michigan alums too.

Ou in okc would be a decided advantage for ou. It’s not hard to understand. It can be listed as “neutral” on paper, but for the players/coaches playing the game it would be anything but neutral (just like Unc in charlotte was last year, just like Syracuse in nyc was in the elite 8).

Charlotte to Chapel Hill is pretty much the same distance as Norman to Dallas. There is no scenario where you would consider Dallas a home game for us, even though it is a massive alumni base for OU.

More like Norman to Tulsa.

Norman to Dallas is 50% further

Went to the game. Gym was full except for the rafters ring of seats. Great environment. Glad the kids got to experience that environment

Keys to the season imo: Don’t shrink the rotations in conference. Lon did it it hurt us, pirter has done it and it has hurt us. Wague, tsylor, dayton, and goodine need to continue getting minutes each game. Don’t want to get later innthe year and need wague and he hasn’t played consistently.

We have folded in conference several times. I am just going to stay positive and enjoy the ride for however long it lasts.

Really like watching this team

I've attended these Jumpman Invitational games and will be there Wednesday night as well. Dallas is a bad comparison because it's in a different state. It's a 2.5+ hour drive from Charlotte to Chapel Hill (unless you leave in the middle of the night), but that's irrelevant. Duke fans do not attend this game, so unless there are people like me who are there to support their favorite school, the rest of the fans are rooting for UNC. There are tons of both UNC alum and just UNC fans in general. The game is being played in the state of North Carolina, so that's to be expected. Florida had more fans than OU two years ago, but it was only a minor factor...OU won anyway. Last year was the equivalent of a road game, plain and simple. I have no idea why anyone would argue that. For Wednesday, I expect more Michigan fans, but OU will have some representation.

There are almost always more fans of our opponents in a neutral site game. We don’t have a good fan base. I’m sure it’ll be a pro-Michigan crowd.

I'm curious how loud the OU section was (in person) when Moore hammered that dunk through the floor with about six minutes to go. I'm sure everyone in Orange was running for the exits by then.

Absolutely electric crowd pop. High fives were given to everyone around me lol

And yes, that was when you could see them start scuttling to the exits
