They don’t have any more chances to help their noncon resume and the Big East is not off to a good start as a conference. It’s hard to see how they could recover from being over 100 in the NET at this stage.

i agree with that this looks to be the worst year for the big east since they reformed .

Go ahead and try to pretend Tech is any good. They are terrible. I never said Providence sucks, I said they probably aren’t a tourney team and best case scenario it will be a Q-2 win.

Funny enough that Providence win might be quad 1 with Hopkins back. That would be some justice after last year. That Providence team we beat at full strength was a quad 1 team for sure.

Marquette and UConn are the only ranked teams in that league and the latter is hanging on by a thread. Creighton is down and there aren’t many other teams off to good starts. We were in the 40s at the end of last year playing in a league with a ton of ranked, high NET teams. The way the NET works, it’s very hard to see them in the top 50 even if they do turn things around.

He looked like the guy I remember down the stretch. And not in a good way.
