GAME 30 - OKLAHOMA (17-12) vs #15 MISSOURI (21-8) 7:00pm CST on SECNETWORK+

Arkansas? Cincinnati last year. Iowa St the year before?

2022 we finished really strong.

It is few and far between, but is has happened.
Iowa State remains our only road win over a tournament team in four years. Arkansas has a chance to become the second. But winning a road game in January against a struggling Arkansas team is a lot different than winning what is essentially a must-win game in March, against a team that knows it all needs this game.

Fair. But Texas may not be a tournament team either.

I think I was going more on the premise of an away win after a win or a clutch away win. (Again, the fact that I could only pluck out 3, is not optimistic)

I will say, IF we pull it off, it would slightly improve one of the biggest weaknesses on our resume, which is only having one road win on the season. I’ve heard bracket guys mention that in discussions about OU. Which is yet another reason it was/is stupid for Moser to not schedule any road noncon games.

My only counter to this would be (btw I agree with you on NC scheduling) that we played 5 Neutral site games and won all of them.

The tournament is Neutral site (not taking into account fan travel). So in that instance, with 3 really good wins on those sites, that shouldn't take as much away from our resume.

I don't want to (hate to) keep bringing them up, but the late game collapses have us in the current position we are in now.

Putting our hopes for a tourney bid on a win against Uterus with Moser at the helm feels like the definition of insanity. He’s literally coaching for his job so we ll all be on pins and needles.
It's the basketball version of a loser leave town match. Only the losing coach gets fired, and the winning coach may get fired, too.

Wanted to share from Bracketmatrix, OU's wins vs. projected tournament teams and all their losses:

-5 of their losses vs. 3-seeds and better.
-OU currently is listed as one of the (6) 11-seeds ... meaning fighting on the bubble.
-Texas is not listed in any of the cumulative brackets.
-(7-10) record vs. actual tournament teams

Texas is winnable, we need it.

Gosh that LSU loss stings.

This team should have 21 wins. A mixture of poor coaching decisions and poor play is the only thing keeping them in the bubble.
Was it TAM Jalon Moore singlehandedly blows it late. I mean that's 24 year old super senior!
