I like the kid, but I'm not sure he is ready to be a regular in the rotation. Maybe this is just a bad matchup, but CMU was constantly trying to get the ball to the guy that Northweather was guarding because they had an advantage.

Always hard to gauge too much from first game, especially with so many new guys. And although this will be a project for Moser, I do see some nice potential pieces and depth. Definitely more athletes than last year. Just not sure about whether they are all basketball players yet.

Our D could become very good but if Northweather is going to get PT he must improve his footwork.

Darthard appears to be a level of defensive player that we haven't seen in a while on this team. It's not that he is just quick (because he is), but he knows exactly where to be on the floor whether he is guarding his man or playing off the ball. He seems to have a very high bball IQ.
