Now what do you think?
that OU was very much in the game or 3/4th of it and that shots didn't fall tonight

When the shots don't fall MOST of the time, this far into a season, that is a pretty lame excuse for things. Fact is, we're just not a good shooting team. We're going to have "hot games", but for the most part, we aren't going to shoot any better than we have this season.
To not beat THIS KU team without their only good offensive player, in Norman, is pretty disheartening. This KU team isn't very good, compared to their normal teams.
brady for the season even after this game is 44.6 from the field and 40 from 3
he is a very good shooter who didn't have a good shooting game
Doo is 44.8 and 45.9 he is a very good shooter who didn't have a good shooting game ..
reaves was a 40 percent fg shooter who shot 11 percent

Now that I have slept on this, I have multiple competing thoughts.
1.) OU was picked 7 or 8th in the league I believe... KU was picked first. OU is not supposed to win this game, so nobody should be real upset about that.
2.) However, when you compare it to the entire body of evidence over the past few years... I think those that are concerned about the direction of the program are still right to do so. I don't think a lot of these issues being discussed by the group are unfair, or can't be backed up with facts, stats, and valid opinions.
This is true, but I think Dotson being out gave many of our fans false hope.
Some thought we'd win even before it was verified Dotson was out.
Because they "objectively watch this team" and apparently think Seth Davis does as well.

That and I, personally, don't think this KU team is very good, compared to what they normally put on the court. We'll have to let the season play out, but I'm guessing they fall short of what they normally accomplish.

Good defense, great ball control, terrible shooting & movement. I know Kruger is trying to space the floor for driving opportunities since OU has no inside game, but some movement & off ball screening would be welcomed.
I thought they played hard until the end, Bienemy and DH have started to pick it up which bodes well as long as Doolittle & Manek bounce back. Reaves & Williams need to pick it up on both ends.
Williams only played 3 minutes which I thought was odd.
What do you mean by "ball control?" We didn't turn it over? That's true but we didn't rebound it much either so it kind of evens out.
Ball control as in low turnovers. I don’t know how rebounds & turnovers relate to each other.
