OU vs KU Bet?

I'm trying to get my KU cousin to make a bet with me for the game this weekend. Instead of giving her a ton of points I've offered her the combined scores of the football and basketball games. Is it a fair bet?

No. OU may beat KU by 50 points plus in football...

And even if OU is worse than expected, I can't imagine them losing by more than 30 to a non-elite KU team. Bad bet.

We play KU at least twice this year in basketball. I'm not so sure it's all that unfair of a bet. I'd lean towards OU, but not by a ton.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the schedule change. I'm still in 1 game a year mode. That does make it a lot closer, but probably still a bad bet.

The line is 33.5 which would mean KU would need to be giving OU an average of 16.75 per hoops game.

Not that far off. I will not be surprised if OU does not run it up on KU this weekend.

In your last two meetings with kansas, you lost by a combined 25 points (12 last year, 13 the previous season). Those kansas teams were better than what I expect them to be this year and those Oklahoma teams were probably worse (arguably more talented two years ago than this year, but probably still a worse team).

A combined football/basketball bet with a -10 spread in OU's favor would probably be fair.
