I bought 15 tickets to the home game against the chickenhawks.

Some of those going are already in OKC or Edmond area but about 8 or so us will be driving down from Kansas. Trying to figure out if we need to get a hotel or not.

Is there any word or rumblings on when the tip off time will be?

I've noticed that some of the Big 12 games (especially the more marquee games) on Saturday on ESPN have been the 7:00 p.m. tip.

Disclaimer: 2 of those coming are KU fans, though they are not the cheering type.

If memory serves the options are 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, or 7 PM, but I could be wrong. I would bet on 7 PM.

If we win out it will most likely be game day and a 7 tip, could still happen that way if we win all but at isu

I received the monthly newsletter from the men's basketball office today that listed three possibilities for the KU game: 3:00; 5:00; or 8:00.

I really want to win these games leading up and make it a gameday. When was the last time (if ever) did we have college gameday for basketball?

Never. It's only existed for 5-10 years.

we had college gameday for basketball here once when i was in school (2003-2008)

Edit: Just looked it up it was in 2006 against texas

Had it here for a shorthorns game if I remember correctly, early 2000's.

it's definitely a possibility with them holding that 8pm spot open. unc-duke is also that day.

ESPN will do Duke-UNC... Especially with the passing of Dean Smith. The only way I see us getting that is if we won out and Kansas lost a game or two and it was to decide the Big 12.

Basketball Gameday is preset before the season. They don't go off matchups.

That used to be the case, but its not anymore.

They will be choosing Gameday the week of.

Best believe they could be coming to Norman that week if the pieces fall into place.

Well look at me being wrong. I was also at OU then and don't remember that at all.:facepalm

The problem is UNC-Duke and Louisville-UVA are the same day.

I think they'll come if that game is for the Big XII title and those other games dont' have conference champisonhip ramifications.

We were scheduled for a Gameday in the 09-10 season for Tisdale Day against Texas, but after the debacle of that season, we were removed for Kentucky

Just a call from someone in OKC and they said they heard on the radio that the game time was set for 3:00 p.m. Still showing as TBA on Soonersports.com. Anyone heard anything?

Bummer, I was hoping for the late game. Would have allowed me to come into town on Saturday and not feel rushed. I might come down on Friday night now.
