They are tough we are weak. Always have had trouble with teams willing to play hard. Unfortunately we are usually the "pretty" team. Well we played hard the first half or so. Maybe next year,

The girls fought hard in this tournament. Proud of the effort. Fouls and we just don't have the guards and the outside shooting to win against top programs.

Frankly, I'm glad this season is over. Under performing team, IMO, even though we made the tournament. That cannot be the benchmark for success.

Sherri and the players better pick it up in the off season.

When you create a monster it needs to be fed, to paraphrase Coach Switzer.

Scheduling wasn't our problem. Our problem was we never knew if Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde was going to show up from game to game.

Scheduling wasn't our problem. Our problem was we never knew if Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde was going to show up from game to game.

True. It all started with the North Texas fiasco. Writing was on the wall from there.

Plus we simply have no player we can count on for offense. Unfortunately there is no reason to expect that to be different next year unless Dungee can score consistently. The biggest mistake we made was putting Derica on the bench halfway through the season. No one else stepped up consistently and Derica lost her confidence even as a reserve after that until recently.

Our inside offense got lost today - as it has a few times. Probably at least partly because our guards cannot shoot and do not require lots of attention.

That allowed them to double and triple team KK and Vivi a lot.

OUWBB will not get much better ever again if Sherri doesn't change he recruiting of project players. She gets slow short guards in most cases who are just not what it takes to compete with Baylor and other athletic teams. Oh yea how about Kellog, Penzo and William and Wyatt, not much better. Clean the roster and find an assistant coach who can recruit better players, or just be satisfied with forth or fifth place in the big 12. Sad how far this program has fallen. Heck Kansas may be better next year.

Find a great assistant that will complement Sherri's deficits and that is allowed to coach. No way the same ole, same ole will get any better.

She would bring energy off the bench for OU, but if you don't start her then it's Edwards starting and that's just not the answer...

One of the announcers said it best, Ortiz dribbled the ball for like 17 secs then was still at half court looking at Sherri to let her know what play to run... Just not a good sign...

We lost because they had better shooters and got good shots.

We shot poorly and didn't get many good shots.

The officiating was horrible. A lot missed a lot of ticky tack calls.

I agree that kayKay pushed the girl off and touched her with the elbow. But the kentucky player was all over her and kept making contact after the whistle. Bad call. Should have been ignored.
