I'd be shocked if OU covers, unless MES is horrible, because LK will play a ton of different guys and lineups. If I was a betting man, I would take those points all day long.

This can't be emphasized enough -- they are beyond horrible. KenPon has them at 348 out of 353 D-1 teams. I would never bet on this kind of game because you never know how soon we will pull the starters, how well the reserves will play, and, for that matter, how focused the team will be. But there is a reason why the line is that high. We very rarely play teams like this, the one thing you hope comes from it is a lot of quality minutes from the bench, especially the bench guys who we need to contribute as the season progresses.

They are terrible, but I agree with everything you said.

The good thing about this team is that even if they clear the bench they will still have at least 2 or 3 guys on the court who can play a little bit so 40+ point leads don't turn into 30 point victories in garbage time.

<sigh> again, I'm not comparing W&M to Maryland Eastern Shore. I'm simply stating what my feeling was before the W&M game.

Vegas must not follow college basketball either since the line in the W&M game was 17.5

W&M is #180 in Kenpom.....Maryland ES is #348 (out of 353 teams). There is your line discrepancy.

Maryland-ES is gawd awful.

Certainly seems that way. This is an awful team that we should have no problems burying but we’re not. They’re shooting 50% from 3. That’s terrible defense against a terrible team. We look like crapola
