The officials are killing us! What is it about KC? We can’t seem to get a call! Pretty boy Higgins may be a good official, but I’m absolutely convinced he hates OU!

I don’t like his hair either. It’s never out of place, even when a game goes into overtime. Another thing, how can he call an entire game without sweating? Am I the only one who noticed it? Am I the only one who cares?

Nope, feel the same way. I don't care how many Final Fours Higgins has done, he still sucks.

Not that it is okay, but with BS calls like we've had, it is no amazement he had threats made against him a couple of years ago.

It was entertaining and he didn't drop any plates like the Red Panda did in Norman. But she got the cheer when she tried again and nailed it.

Seems like it happens every time we are in KC. And with it being the late game with no area teams playing in the game, the crowd is pitiful. They might as well just cancel having spectators at the game.

The game is not officially over as there has been a stoppage of play to try catch the skunk which made its way on to the court. I've never seen Lon move so quickly. Hopefully, they'll be able to cage the little rascal and get the game over with without it affecting the lead too much.

I can’t thank the OP and board nearly enough for this thread. Let’s just say I had an absolute disaster of a day in my personal life. It doesn’t involve death or illness, but just about the worst thing possible outside those things. Seeing this thread is the first time I’ve been able to laugh (or at least smile) in many hours.

I didn't see Lon run from the skunk, but I did see him clapping at the skunk as it ran on the court.

Agree on this thread. It makes you realize how much we need sports to cope with the day-to-day crap we have to deal with in life. Good to have this group to manage through it.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts! Definitely involves a woman who did the worst thing you can do to someone you claim to love. But I’ll get through it, although not having sports for the foreseeable future will make it tougher. So the more fake game threads, the better!! I can’t wait to find out who we play now that Selection Sunday is upon us!!
