OV vs WVU

OK. We can't shoot. We can't rebound. We can't dribble. We can't assist.

Well you get the idea. We can't ... We can't ...

How in the world does this team play so Jeckel & Hyde all season long?

Weird.. And frustrating.

This team is SOOO much like the 2014 team. Just hope they can start playing better even if they don't win.

There are a few teams (who coaches them?) in the conference who play rough, physical basketball. If it is allowed the scores end up being far to low to be good for the future of WBB.

They play that way because they have a hard time scoring so the physical, rough play produces these low scoring games.

There is very little interest in 40 and 50 point games. It does make it slightly possible to have a big come back and win late on occasion.

Well, I guess I'm glad I'm not seeing or hearing this. Kinda. What a flop.

Just looked at the stats.
Did anyone ever think we'd see the day when Edwards would be our second highest scorer.

At least the score looks respectable.

We tried to come back but just didn't have enough. The first half is a head scratcher.

We need a policy - each guard is allowed only one missed 3 pt. shot. Once you miss you are done. Step closer - and even if it is blocked - you are no worse than a guaranteed miss. I have never seen a team that is foolish enough to keep shooting those bricks when they have absolutely no skill at hitting them.

Stop it. Just stop it.

63-55 I don't know how we got to within four.

Kay Kay and Vivi had a total of three rebounds. It killed any chance when we let a 38% free throw shooter get an offensive board on a free throw and hit two free throws. It was that type of game. A 38% free throw shooter hits five of six. She also got 14 boards, five of which were offensive boards. They had 13 offensive rebounds.

Edwards and Little were the only two who earned at least a C. Gioya came on late for a D+.

The problem inside was that it was an incredibly physical game. We cannot play with that style. It has been true for years.

Ortiz, Edwards, and Carter were our leading rebounders. WV hits 5 3's, we shoot air balls and miss badly. Shooting percentages between both teams were pretty similar, thanks to some defense in the second half. Very disappointed in the effort tonight, can't play one quarter and expect a miracle. Both teams with 19 turnovers.

Now on to Kansas, maybe we can get a road win.

The problem is also we only have two kids that even really attempt to shoot mid range jumpers on a consistent basis. Gioya and Gabbi. 3's are nice, but its the 12 to 15 footers that will keep you in the game and winning.

I couldn't agree more. That should improve when Dungg and Llanusa get here.

I haven't looked back at previous teams, but this has to be one of the worst shooting teams in Sheri's tenure.
