who said these players cannot score? Both can score when asked to do so and they both are good shooters. the biggest problem OU has right now is that only one guard can shoot from the outside.

Where did I say that anybody said they "couldn't score?" I said they were limited offensively, and I stand by that. Hornbeak and Cousins aren't shooters. Hield is a shooter. Pledger was a shooter. That doesn't describe Hornbeak and Cousins. Certainly not to the point of calling them "good" shooters. Both are better off the dribble right now, than shooting it. And I don't expect either of those guys to be anything more than adequate from 3 (say, 30-35%) for their first couple of years. And that is fine, my point was, if you know their games, and their limitations, we really need another guard to step up along the way and become the main scoring option from the guard spots, IMO. I think that could be Hield. Or Clark if we get him. Or maybe somebody else that hasn't signed or committed.
