Philip Jurick

I don't know anything about what Jurick did and I don't care enough to find out, but if he only got a misdemeanor Ford has proven he will not kick him off the team.

Just curious, when was the last time any coach anywhere kicked a player off a team for a misdemeanor?

I still feel like he was dealing and being a senior I'm all for giving the boot, but I think drew set the precedent with dunn. You can break you baby mamas nose and still play college ball.

I forgot about about the Dunn situation. That was despicable.

Hasn't he been in legal trouble before? I would think that a kid who keeps ending up on the wrong side of the law on a team with a player who was just convicted on multiple felonies might want to reign things in and kick him off. On the other hand, Ford strikes me as a guy who gives his players not only enough rope to hang themselves with, but the gallows too.

I believe the other legal trouble he was in was driving with an expired out-of-state license.

And missing a court date, no?

He sounds like a numbnuts.

DM, which kid was that?

It is a loss, Jurick was going to be one of the first guys off the bench although not depended on to score, he had an ok defensive game.

Nash is going to have to play some 4 now.

Guerrero.

Why do you guys think he got kicked off the team. He wasnt distributing. Only got a misdemeanor

Yeah right. The scales and 18 baggies were just so he could make sure what he had lasted for 18 days.

I'm assuming that Olekemi and Nash play a lot of 4 next year. If we can get Cobbins in foul trouble then we should be able to exploit them down low....

As of now Olukemi isn't eligible to play the 2nd semester. His NCAA clock runs out in December.

To get a 6th year for medical/injury reasons you have to have missed two seasons of competition due to injury. Olukemi played too much last season to even be considered for a medical redshirt. The ONLY way he gets to play the 2nd semester is if the NCAA grants him a waiver based on "faulty advice" given to him while at Prep School.

Saw Jurick in Stillwater back in June at a camp...lets just say I didn't need a police report to convince me this guy likes the mary jane.

Just read in the paper that Jurick is suspended indefinately. Said he would miss the team's upcoming tour to Spain. I didn't know that they were going to Spain.

Left today for some international tournament

He won't miss a meaningful game as I bet he will be back before the Pokes' first difficult noncon game.

What do OSU people think? Do you guys want him back? I certainly get both sides to the argument. His offense is not great, at least as charged; however, OSU has gotten a couple of black eyes with criminal convictions lately.

It depends on how rebounding and interior defense is during his suspension.

Gas is expensive and he likes girls and tries to score with them. Pretty simple stuff from an 18 year old kid.

Although given recent events one might want to stay way from comments that could be taken out of context and sound a little "rapey" (to quote The League)
