Wow...
Oklahoma State basketball player Philip Jurick faces a bench warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear in court on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
Jurick, a 21-year-old senior, had been sent a letter in May ordering him to appear in court by 1:45 p.m. Thursday, according to court records. When he failed to report, the warrant was issued and bond was set at $500.
Following a routine traffic stop in Stillwater in April, when Jurick was ticketed for speeding, it was discovered he was driving with a suspended Tennessee driver's license. Jurick told officers at the scene that he was unaware of the suspension.
