Pistons land Josh Smith

The guy they got in the draft is hopefully someone who can replace Stuckey at that spot. He looks like he is going to be a good player, so they are definitely upgrading.

I don't like Smith at SF. I think it will lead him to shoot even more ill-advised jumpers.

Smith is a nice player but not $50+MM nice or whatever he signed to. He is a nice 2nd/3rd scoring option, athletic, decent defender and shot-blocker that will help the Pistons get better, but I don't like him for that amount of money.

Somebody was going to overpay to get him and it looks like that somebody was the Pistons.
