And not to say that Iowa State wouldn't have won anyway (very well could've,
since they were due a run), but in all truthfulness, Cousins SHOULD be beating himself up! Right or wrong, his stupid cussing the Iowa state bench and the resulting technical IGNITED the ISU rally.

You think he was the only one cussing at other players? The WVU player tonight got a T for staring after he blocked a shot. Refs are just getting weak. Warn him and then take action, and maybe they did. But to think Cousins was the only one jawing is absurd, Niang was mouthing non stop when he caught fire.

He didn't cuss the Iowa State bench. He yelled in excitement after a big block, when everything was going our way. Looking back now, obviously he shouldn't have done it. He did something I'm sure 95% of college players do during a game. He just did it too loud I guess.

I would much rather see Cousins play with confidence and not beat himself up over a weak homer-driven call such as the one called on him. I think he spent the rest of the game letting that technical get in his head.

With that said, he seemed to be the only player to make a couple of jump shots during a long stretch when ISU was seemingly running roughshod over the team.

He did cuss loudly. That being said, I think that the only reason it was called is because the ISU crowd was so quiet. At that point, you could hear a pin drop in that place. If their crowd was more into the game, I doubt we all would have heard it as clearly and potentially the refs would have missed it.

George Niang made a big deal about it right after the block... The team lost the game, just seems like OU was playing way to fast when ISU made there run.... Cousins was going at it with #1 on a few plays lots of bumping...

They may have won anyway but if the T isn't called, we get the ball and they don't get the 5 point swing. We lost by 8 or 9 so the last minute is a different game without that 5 point swing.

No he shouldn't. He should remember it, not repeat it and move on. What good possibly comes from beating yourself up over something like that. If I were Kruger I would simply tell him it was a mistake and I don't care. You are a great person and a great basketball player. The team needs you and I want you to forget it happened.
