I mean I guess the question would need to be asked if those players would be better than McCollum too.

Seriously, it does point to Los not returning. Even PM's PC about the tourney bid had some read between the lines that current starters won't be back.

It also doesn't rule out JMac coming back, IMO. He could always do what Woodard did when he switched to the off ball G position. Didn't think that would work but it did. All I know is having combo guards running the offense, that can't penetrate effectively to get buckets, get to the line, or shoot outside is not ideal. That is what we had in Los.

I am not one to say he needs to be gone, but he needs to have less of a role and MPG. So I like the interests so far from the staff in the portal if he stays or he goes.

I think we should follow that random Twitter guy who said JM was going to be the most intriguing draft prospect this year. If he gives any players in the portal his seal of approval, sign me up!

Kidding aside, I’m incredibly leery of any really small and/or short guards. Those guys either need to be explosive athletes, knockdown shooters, or possess some other elite skill set to survive in a great conference. We saw what happened to JM this year. That frame just doesn’t work well at this level.

And while someone accurately pointed out that Forsythe isn’t particularly short, just from appearances, he doesn’t seem to have long arms or be a guy who all be able to play at or above the rim.
